Hermana Campbell at the MTC

August 13th was when Jessica went into the MTC. We got her first letter and she is learning the language and learning how to be a good missionary. I call her the "Legally Blond missionary"...she entered the MTC with a red cute jacket, heels, cute black skirt with a slit up the back...and hot pink luggage. Not quite the normal sister missionary types I have seen! She was thrilled to be there and to get started. According to her letters, she loves the MTC and her companion...she is the senior missionary, because she arrived 2 hours before her companion did. (: She will be there for 2 more weeks then off to the Madrid Spain MTC.

Hermana Campbell

My little sister...who is not so little anymore, leaves today to enter into the MTC in Provo, UT. Her mission is the Malaga, Spain mission. She will be in the MTC in Provo for 3 weeks and then in the Spain MTC for 2 months. We are so excited for her and her choice to serve a mission. We had a last beach day with our family on Saturday. And we had her farewell on Sunday. Her talk was so great and it showed how much she has prepared for her mission and this part of her life. I think she is the cutest missionary I have seen in a long time!! We had our sad yet happy goodbyes. It is amazing how bitter sweet it really is. We will miss her...Spain is lucky to get her! I am grateful to have a sister who is choosing to serve our Heavenly Father and to spread the Gospel to those who are looking for it. I am grateful that my children have such a great example in their lives. Maybe we can go see her i Spain at the end of her mission?...hmmm....(:

Breaking Dawn

I got it! I got it! I went to the Walmart in Hemet on Friday night..well Saturday August 2nd morning at midnight. I was the first to get in line and there was a bunch of cute teenagers who had a twilight ball that night before the book was released. I felt a bit old considering I was the oldest one there to get the book. It is fabulous and I am almost done...I have to stop to taek care of the kids..otherwise I would be done by now!! (:

Wes Rocks!!

If he could, he would jump in and meet his beloved Shamu! He talks constantly about him and watched the show at home. Our friend Laura Jacklin asked if it was just her that he would comment on Shamu every single time he saw her. I said no that was the privilege of everyone around him. His favorite show is Shamu rocks. Here is a video from Shamu rocks...he was tired and was trying to make sure he didn't miss his show...and remember the kid is 2. Maybe not too impressive..but hey I'm his mom...I'm always impressed!

Sea World..I know again?!?

This should be on the same post as the Chargers camp, but the kids would say it deserves it own posting. So I post separately. After Chargers camp, we went to Sea world. We made it to the Believe show..barely. Who would go to Sea World on a Saturday in August? Well us..but never again!! We went to various things and then of course..Shamu Rocks! We had to wait at 6:30 to see the 8 pm show. We told the kids to pick out of seats..and they picked dead center...in the front..good view..but hello..Shamu likes to splash! So we braved it and enjoyed it. As the show was getting started, Wes was entertaining all who were around us and then on the big screen at the front of the stadium..they we were. They picked us out to be on the screen. When Wes saw that he was on it..he hammed it up and started dancing for the crowd. We had a great evening with our kids!
