Piercing time!
When Samantha was about 1 year old, her aunt Carmen and I took her to go and get her ears pierced. She as a baby did not enjoy it and constantly pulled her earrings out. I had enough and said that she would wait until she was 8 to get it down. She was so excited when I told her that for her 8th birthday we would take her in to get them pierced. Dave let her pick out earrings to wear after she is able to pull the piercing earrings out. This is the picture story...

Isn't it fun to see Samantha go from all smiles to "What the heck? What did you do?! What did YOU DO?!?! " hahaha In the end she loves them and takes very good care of her ears. She cleans them every morning and night. I don't even have to do it, she remembers. It is almost time for her to wear normal earrings...she is thrilled!!

It's birthday time..again!
Since Sammie's birthday was on a Tuesday her party was delayed until Saturday. We had invited her primary class and a few girls from school...it was loud, busy, and dramatic! We all had fun!
This is Sammie's 8th birthday cake. She had a "puppy" themed party.
Savannah
How could I not take pictures of this?!?! Well, I was helping Grandma Grogan with flowers for a wedding and Wes found the leftover flowers and insisted on delivering them to his friend Savannah. Savannah is the girlfriend of everyone in Sunbeams...she is the only girl, but so darling! It is funny to hear these 3 and 4 year old boys telling each other that Savannah is indeed their girlfriend. I thought that he might forget about it, but 2 hours later he was bugging me again. I hope to use these pics as blackmail later on in his life...haha jk!! PS Dont judge me..I know he needs a haircut!! (:

Happy 8th Samantha!!
My little girl is 8!!! It is amazing how fast time flies!! On her birthday which was a Tuesday this past February 2 we got cupcakes ready for her class, presents to open, and dinner at the Sizzler with her Grandpa Grogan who was turning 70 the very next day. (Yes, Sizzler was her idea, and btw in Caldwell..it is YUMMY!) She had a great day turning 8!

Mombo and Rocky
Mombo and Rocky are great friends. Luckily they have each other since it is too cold to play outside for too long! Spring is coming boys!! Hang in there!! And just so you all know..dogs were Dave's idea! (;

A kid with a death wish!
I went into my pantry and found this:
I thought I so clever to put all the chips, snacks, granola bars, popcorn, etc up on the top shelf of my pantry...that way I can control what the kids get into. There is no chair in there yet so I thought..perfect! I was impressed with myself. Apparently I got too cocky since my little 3 year old can CLIMB!!!! I tried so hard not to laugh, but I lost it. Then I told him to hang on while I got my camera. So grateful he didn't fall!! He actually was sitting on top of the shelf as he decided what he wanted to eat. When he got down he proceeded to tell me and Dave that he was getting something for Dylan. Like that would make a difference?!?! hahaha
ReAlLy?!?!?!
Moving in the snow is not as fun as it looks! And it makes you feel bad if you ask friends for help! (: But we will remember this move..since it hopefully is our last...yep I have declared that moving stinks and I never want to move again!! In several years if I change my mind, I will make sure to read this post!! haha (: Thanks to all those who helped us! You all rock!!
