Today...

I am finally posting a post that happened..TODAY! Well...what a day we have had! My dear husband left today for Idaho! We will be joining him in June. We will miss him terribly!!

Today I had many things to keep me busy and it was hard to get sad...it was PROM! Man the memories flooded back as I helped my baby sis get ready. I "babysat" her this weekend since my parents are in Utah at Mike and Kristie's college graduation from SUU....President Monson was the keynote speaker..talk about lucky!...they even stayed in the same hotel as him!....and the same floor! So I volunteered to stay with Vee. We had alot of fun getting her ready. Her hair turned out awesome..and I only had today to see the picture of what she wanted. Her makeup looked amazing and her dress...wow her dress...well lets just say it is good my Dad was in Utah! Vanessa is the last of the Campbells to go to prom...this is her senior prom. I guess an end of an era....

The messy look is very in...alot of the girls had "messy" dos!The date...not sure about his name...so we will refer to him as the date!
all about fun!

So glad I could be apart of her day! It was alot of fun! So weird that our little "peach" is all grown up and ready to explore the world...next on the to do list is graduate! I am very proud of my lil sis...isn't she gorgeous?!

Dad surprised us...

...didn't wake us up for school and took us to Sea World! We are really going to miss this place when we are in Idaho! Dave was leaving Saturday and wanted to have a family day, and thought that Sea World would be a good place to go. We have alot of fun being together as a family and enjoying our Dad! Dave is such a hard worker and a great father and husband. Many times he misses out on the fun that the kids and I share in, we were glad he was able to go this time!

This kid is going to have serious Shamu withdrawals!...Does anyone know a good therapist in Idaho?

Waiting for the show...

Under the tarp after Shamu kept on splashing us!

I hate this ride...basically the teacups..and the kids want to spin as fast as they can!

Playing with Elmo...

Yes we won this! Between Dave and I, we both are seriously good at the 3 point basketball games...yes even me! And this time, Dave was on fire...and won the giant Shamu. Not sure how it will get to Idaho...but Wes is in love! Meeting the Clydedale, I had some great shots, but the horse was a little exposed in the pictures...wink wink. haha

Who has the BEST burger in town??

There was a debate in the Grogan house about who had the BEST tasting burger in town...Dave and Dylan lead the debate. One night we decided that we should really find out. So we went to 5 different places and got the basic burger..no cheese since I don't eat that. (: We went to Bakers, In n Out, Carls Jr, Del taco (wild card), and Farmer Boys. Dylan's pick was Bakers and Dave's was In n Out.

We cut each burger into 5ths, so we each ate a whole burger..and got very full! We also got fries from each place, but didnt judge them

The results were....5th place Del Taco, I know SHOCKER! 4th place was Carls, 3rd place was Bakers, 2nd place was Farmer Boys and in 1st place In n Out. We had alot of fun figuring our who had the best burger..now on to tacos! (:
