Incredible Families at John's Incredible Pizza

We have had a few "goodbyes" for the Camerons, our good friends of the past few years. We got together last night at John's Pizza for FHE. We all had a great time! it was a great final night for the families to get together!

Pic on top is all of our friends from the CS ward. And the pic on the bottom..well..I had to capture that moment. We were in the cabin room and we had the whole place to ourselves. People would walk in and walk right back out. When 6 families with kids get together it can be a little wild. (:

233...that the score that smashed, killed, defeated me. Dave and I have an ongoing basketball scoring competition. I had 121 points and was very confidant that I would prevail...and he squashed it. Good Job Dave! High Score! The Camerons kids and the Grogans kids..waiting patiently to go on the bumper cars...we will miss them!

The Ladies!...Shannon, Amber, Laura, Amber, Kierstin, and Wendy across our laps!!

Summer!!

We are having a blast and making the most of our summer so far. Wehave been here, there and everywhere! We went to Oceanside for the day on Monday (yesterday). We tried very hard to make a sandcastle..but high tide was against us. Wesley was kind of wierd though. On the 4th of July he was all about the ocean and catching those waves..and yesterday he wouldn't go near the water...not really sure what happened there. They kid shave so much energy and I am trying hard to keep up, but am running out of steam quick...on the next adventure!!

Viva La Vida!!

We went to Coldplay!! It was David's father's day gift. The concert was sold out and packed! We have been to several concerts and always enjoyed them. Coldplay is great live! They put on a really good show. During the first encore, they went through the crowd and up in the nose bleeds to do two songs. And then ran back throguh the crowd. We were on the side of the stage front row of the nosebleeds. They were actually good seats. And of course you are not allowed to bring a camera in,I took out my batteries before we went in but I could'nt resist takng a few pictures! They didn't turn out that great. It is hard taking pictures of movement in the dark. I loved the concert! I love Coldplay live! I loved who I was with! It rocked!!

The crazy that is the 4th of July!!

Our 4th of July tradition is to go to Oceanside beach and enjoy the morning, afternoon and night there....along with everyone else!! (:

We escape the heat by seeing the 4th of July blockbuster...this year it was not hot and overcast and so we didnt see any movies. We didnt feel the urgency to escape the sun...so now we are all sunburned.

Wesley loved the water and I was surpried that he wasnt scared to jump in! He loved it when the waves rolled up and his feet got stuck in the sand. What little wonders will do for kids.

Dylan took the boogie board out and caught several waves..he got pretty good by the end of the day. And then he enjoyed collecting several sandcrabs that he thought to take home...no way that was happening!!(:

Samantha enjoyed her day by running up and down the shore and making new friends. Then she started on her sand castle creations...though the waves had other plans for her.

Some of our friends decided to be be daring and join us. We had a blast with everyone! After dinner we geared up for the fireworks..and then the fog rolled in...we heard them this year instead of seeing them. The whole point is the fireworks on the ocean. They are amazing! I felt bad that our good friends came and confronted the crowds with us...and then a bummer of an end. Luckily we all had a great day..so it wasnt too bad. So this year we heard and imagined.

We had a great day and hope that all of you had a great 4th of July as well!
