Chick Fila

Our local ChickFila has a Kids night every Tuesday from 5-8pm. We went this past Tuesday and had a fun time! Kids eat free and they have crafts, a clown, the cow, face painting, and balloon animals. Each kid also gets a free ice-cream cone and they get to go behind the counter and make it themselves. They loved that part! Every week they do something different. This next week they are having a dinosaur dig. We may go...eating fast food every week isnt going to help my figure...hmmm....tons of fun though! The kids loved it!

Titanic!!

Dylan's class has been learning about the Titanic in history and they had a special project and had two weeks to work on it. Dylan chose to do a diaroma of what you would find in the Titanic. I was very impressed with his ideas and how he carried it out. He got an A+ and gave his oral presentation and got an A+ on that as well. He also was able to present to the other 4th grade classes to show what they could do. He had the best one of his class. I am a proud Mom!!

For all the Twilight Fans out there....

....this place does exist!! On our way to Oceanside, CA we pass this hamburger place and since we call my sister Vanessa "Nessy" sometimes we say it is her place. I was driving by and I said "oh there is Aunt Vanessa place"..and then I said "OHHHHHHH!!!!" Haha. I pulled over...didnt get out..thank goodness for zoom lens! And I thought if Renesmme and Jacob had a restaurant...this would be it!! lol..I know I am a dork, but had to share. I told Vanessa it is no longer her place and she looked at me very puzzled. She is only in the beginning of Jacob's story...she will like it when she discovers what it means. (;

First Day of School 2008

I am way late at posting this...I have been busy...lazy rather and haven't posted much. Here are the pics from that wonderful day! Dylan is in the 4th grade this year and his teacher is Mrs. Solorio. She is fantastic! He is really doing well in her class. he loves to read and is reading at a very high level for a 4th grader. Samantha is in 1st grade and has Mrs. Quin. She also is doing very well. She is conquering her Mad Minutes everyday and is working hard.

Cookies with Grandma

Samantha bugs Grandma Campbell until she gives in to make cookies with her about every time she sees her! I remember doing the same thing to my Mom when I was younger..and it was a race between me and Allison to see who could make them. Grandma gave in and made Samantha one happy girl. And of course..Wesley decided that the fun could'nt go on without him. They made chocolate peanut butter chip cookies and they were yummy!!
