Genni

I came across this picture of Genni Bain today. I love it!! It is from our Valentine Day playgroup Party. Genni is so amazing!! She is the sweetest girl! She is always willing to have fun! Genni is always smiling and she is easy to talk to and be friends with! She has such a good heart. Genni is very giving of herself, her time, and her talents. I have recently learned that Genni loves music and her range of music is very very wide...all I need to say is Karaoke night...Gold Digger. She is a good singer too!! About as good as me! (: haha. I love to be around Genni, she is so sweet, fun, and kind. I love Genni! She has two of the cutest kids ever! Wyatt and Aurora...who is brand new. Wyatt is such a boy and is so fun to watch! He has the prettiest eyes. And I am sure that Aurora will be a little princess and alot of fun!! Genni will always stay close to my heart as a dear friend who loves a good time and does'nt worry who is watching! It is very catchy! And you can't help but smile and have fun when around Genni! I am grateful to have her as my friend. I have learned alot from Genni and she is such a great example to me. I enjoy watching her with her children and appreciate what a great mother she is~I am blessed to know her! Love you Genni!

My Valentine!

We had a good weekend. None of it was planned, which makes it more fun. Friday we had Outback takeout..yummy! And we went hot tubbing with my sis Kristie and her hubby Jeff. We had dessert in the tub..strawberries whipcream and hot fudge! (A Valetnines Day must have!!) And chatted in the night away with Kristie and Jeff. I really am not a HUGE fan of V Day. I think people waste a ton of money and for what?? I know my hubby loves me...he tells me everyday! I hope I do the same for him! He came home from work on Friday with this...

So for the girl who can take it or leave when it comes to V Day...it was a great year! Dave was very thoughtful in what he did for me this year. I even got a new purse! A few friends told me "hey I saw you in the parking lot of Best Buy. I knew it was you with your Thomas the Train backpack." I knew then I needed a change from Wesley's backpack to a grownup purse! On Saturday we went to dinner with the rest of the world to the Morongo Casino. They have GREAT restaurants there. Lessoned learned however..do not go to the Morongo casino on V Day and when they have a concert at the same time! Yikes!!!

I have the best Valentine! A man who loves me and helps me. A man who works hard for our family. A man who loves his children and plays with them. A man who lets me have those crazy bad days. A man who lets me go to scrap night until 4 am and doesn't complain. A man who is a fabulous cook! A man who laughs with me, cries with me, loves me. I love you David!

It HAILED!

In the ever so loved Southern California...it really doesn't do much other than rain...maybe...and yesterday it hailed! You would've thought it was snowing and we were wanting to play in the snow! no..just hail. It hailed a little bit and then it stopped and then it really really hailed! It was loud and very windy. My camera was out in my car...so I ran outside to go get it and got pelted pretty hard...and I was barefoot...a true sign of a Cali girl! We had alot of fun Sammie collected hail in her cup. We drank hot chocolate. We had a fire. Simple and fun!

Dylan running back into the house...hail hurts when it comes down!
Our table in the backyard...there was a lot of hail!

Samantha's cup of hail..she wanted to eat it...which would've been fine, but she got it off of cars..so we threw it out! (:

And yes that is me...yikes..horrible pic...but there I was in the hail storm with no shoes , no jacket..I HAD to get my camera!!! (:

Lindy and Michelle

I have realized that I have TONS of amazing women in my life. I am so blessed to know them and learn from them. And so glad that we are friends. I know I must drive them all crazy and they love me anyway!! This post is dedicated to two women. I have known both for different lengths of time, but it seems like we have known each other forever. Lindy Matthews and Michelle Palmer are the craziest, friendliest, and funniest girls!(I know my grammer in the last sentence was bad..forgive me (: ) Michelle was actually my personal progress leader when I was a graduating laurel. I used to babysit Samantha, her daughter. Sam was the cutest and coolest baby...and I knew I wanted a Samantha too. Now Samantha is a junior in high school. Michelle and I are kindred spirits and so much alike! She is the sweetest, kindest. She doesn't talk bad about others and keeps SO much to herself! I want to be like her when I grow up! She should've been my sister! She even looks like a "Campbell sister"! Lindy....Lindy is a forgiving soul. She is a fighter. Lindy works very hard for her family and LOVES to goof off and have fun! I met Lindy "officially" when the Vista Heights ward was dissolved..I was on a hunt for a new Beehive counselor..and I met her and grabbed her as soon as I could. That is when the "Lindy and Michelle duo" began...they were the BEST Beehive leaders I could've ever asked for!! Lindy is always ready for whatever comes her way! She is one of the most positive woman I know in my life! She too is a kindred spirit. Her kids are awesome...a true testiment of what kind of mother Lindy is. I could go on and on about these too. I love our monthly lunches together...they just aren't long enough!! (: They really are great friends and women. They are true examples of Christ like love and dedication to ones family. I love them both! I am glad to call them my friends.
