Losing teeth..the sequel...

It has been I think 3 hours since my last post...oh my! Well, I have now decided that Dylan should be in trouble for kicking his sister in the mouth...though he did a great public service...Samantha has now lost another tooth. The one right next to it, was obviously loose...at least I hope it was! She came in the back room exclaiming, "My other tooth came out too! I lost another tooth! I am going to have so much money!" With us waiting so long for the "snaggle" tooth to come out...we were in shock that another tooth hit the dust...What a day!!



Amazing how teeth and the lack thereof changes a face...and how quickly it happens...in about 3 hours...lol (:...by the way Dylan is for hire if any of you have teeth that just wont come out or if you want to get a headstart!

Losing teeth

Samantha is a the age of losing teeth. She had her front top tooth hang on for dear life. I have been twisting and pulling this tooth for WEEKS now! We have tried just about everything. We even told her that the tooth fairy would give her $5 if the tooth came out by the end of the day last weekend...that didn't work either.(She also has another tooth with a cavity in it that I want to fall out, the dentist wanted to wait to see if it would fall out on its own.) Her grandparents...both sets have tried to encourage the tooth to come out. Her Dad has nicknamed it "snaggle"...poor Samantha. It has been twisted so much that it sticks straight out...and so today we are trying to keep the Sabbath Day Holy and rest. The kids haven't gotten that memo...in playing Dylan kicks Samantha in the face...knocking out the "snaggle" tooth. It was a bloody mess, she still had blood on her cheek and lips when I took the picture..more dramatic that way. haha I wasn't sure if Dylan should get in trouble for kicking Samantha in the face or a reward for getting "snaggle" out. Samantha was so excited...she put the tooth in a bag and brought me my camera. And Dylan thinks it is pretty cool that he kicked her in the faced and knocked a tooth out..he is quite proud. I think we need to have a talk with him about things to be proud about and things not to be proud about...(note to self. (: )

Professor Pennypickle

There is a fabulous science children's museum in Temecula, CA. You do not have to be a huge science nut to enjoy this museum...there is something for everyone and every age! My sister Allison came down with her two kids, Will and Malia and we went there for a fun Saturday!

It is staged as the home of Professor Pennypickle. The professor is either not there or is up in the attic and is so shy, that he won't come down. The kids run around and go into different rooms of the home where there are science expieriments, crazy things to look at, and it is all hands on. There are secret passageways, a maze room, and so much more!! There are pennies and pickles around the house and when you see them, there is an expieriment to try out. There was alos a Thanksgiving craft to make a thankful mouse. The mouse is Professor Pennypickles assistant...and can be seen aroudn the house as well. And they had a few of the girls do science expieriment there with the kids. We saw two today, the egg that gets sucked into a milk glass jar; and then she made a lava lamp with water, oil, and alka selzters..it was very cool the kids had alot of fun runnign around and exploring.
